Fuck! That LIFE streching out greyly ahead. Life with all its pockmarks and maybe even zooming, humongous truck tires sizzling in. Sheesh!

great photo, and the story that goes with it really enhances it, too
I'll have some names for you soon! I do forward your photos often, especially to my parents, but will check with them first.
Sorry to bother you unnecessarily about the windows the other day. Obviously, John had closed them. He says he told me but I don't think he did . . . .

Gene- is this some "Why did the worm cross the road" thing? The shrubbery would indicate fall.

The title fits well with the photo - in fact, without the title its just an earthworm behaving like C. Columbus despite the naysayers.

Love the title. Another creature that I tend to overlook or just kick aside. Bliss

This is a great shot, both in terms of subject matter and composition. I bet this would get into a show.

Tell me: is that distant yellow ribbon the goal that borders heaven? Or alas, is it the center stripe of a road, leaving another hellish distance to go? Retrospect makes me think it is the center stripe. I wonder if seeing what is ahead is really an advantage.

Nice colors and contrast Gene.
Hope you are enjoying it because I love photography but it takes time and would love to have time like this worm and slither slowly. :>

very clever. we all have to be sure and look both ways before starting a new adventure - or just jump in.
we saw ronnie paul in REd River New Mexico and he was telling us about your father for which we are very sorry and that you had not been the picture of health at that point. hope all is well now and that your life is going much better. we will think of some people that would like to see your great photography. thanks and keep sending the work. Gene, I'd be glad to pass them along or give you addresses. This is really amazing. You need to do a book and make money, or put prints in galleries. I love worms -- rescue them after rainstorms.
