YOUR granddaughter? I know that I am not a blood relative, but I consider these girls my granddaughters, too. Walt didn't want any more children, so what was I to do, if I wanted to stay with him? Several years ago, Claire told me that you told her that I was not her REAL grandmother. She was too young to fully understand family dynamics, so seemed confused by this statement. And, I was quite hurt by you saying this to her. "Family" isn't always defined by bloodlines. I feel closer to R&D&C&E than I do to most of my actual nephews and nieces.
