This is interesting because of the different textures and geometric shapes-squares, rectangles and the circle.

I find this building somewhat ugly but it is a good clear photograph which highlights the differednt textures. Beauty may not be a requirement.

This one is great on varying textures and colors. The circle gives the picture some drama too. I'm not sure that the lack of true vertical lines works well--can you try to get one with the line between the bricks vertical? Of the pure architecture pix this is the one I like the best.

I like this one, because even if you didn't know what it was, it has an interesting visual appeal. The circular with the angular, and the difference in textures - brick, glass, metal, and so forth.

This picture caught my eye because of the many shades, glass blocks, even the outline of the circle makes it different from your other photography. Very abstract and I'm not usually drawn
to this type of picture. It makes me want to see the whole building.

I like the shapes, the contrasts and the geometric similarities (2 shades of brick, the glass).

This one, to me, is much more interesting than the barn.

That's much more interesting and I like the way you framed it.

In most ways I like this best for Arc. There is an optical illusion, however, that makes the cropping look askew.

interesting combination of textures. This is great

Now this I like! I really like the composition, the contrast in materials, and the light on the glass. Very cool!

interesting forms and color but I'm not crazy about this either

I like this one. Interesting because it shows a diversity of shapes, colors, and texture in one picture.

I love this one. It has both color and geometric contrasts.

i like this one but needs to be cropped better...maybe on the slant...

This is very cool -- like a giant Hula-hoop plastered to the window.

I might crop this one so that the two colors of bricks are symmetrical.
It seems to be at an angle. Is there good depth of field and both the top and bottom?

This one is really interesting, I like it better than the sheds I think. One thing that you can do to this photo is fix the perspective in photoshop. I'm not sure if you have CS2, etc... or if some other version has the perspective tool, but you can warp it so the window is "square", which generally helps such shots (actually, it helps a lot of architecture shots). This is the same reason there are tilt/shift lenses. I'm not at home right now, but if you e-mail me the original of this, I can show you what I mean. Also, you might think of a more evocative title... but it might not matter.

among the building pictures, I'd go for this one but the next is even better, so take the other one.

Lots going on here to make this an interesting shot, and having the circle off-center adds to the composition. Nice mix of colors and tones too. Shooting at this angle makes it difficult (impossible?) for any of the lines to be parallel with any of the borders, which bugs me a bit and would likely keep this from winning a competition (IMHO).
