Hi Friend,

I've got some pictures to show. Not especially remarkable ones but I'm sending them anyway. :-)

The big thing here is I'm using a different format to show the pictures. If you click on the pointers below, you get the picture in a browser as usual. Except the picture is a fairly large thumbnail but not so large that its a pain to download. If you're using a slow dial-up line, you may be happy to just look at this. If you want a larger version, move your mouse pointer over the image and click.

As you will notice, I've given you a chance to make a comment about the picture on the page that shows the big thumbnail. If you wanted to, just enter your comment in the comment box and press the Submit button.

You could use this approach to tell me if you are having a problem seeing the pictures this way or if there is something else wrong. I'm kind of new to this web stuff.

Of course, the ultimate purpose of the comment box is for you to say REALLY, REALLY nice things about the picture (or not). :-)

Hope all is well at your end,

Gene

A walk along the local river, the Cache la Poudre, often yields decent photos.

This girl left when I showed her too much attention.

Even the nearly clear Colorado sky has a simple beauty.

Sometimes, the Colorado skies are downright gaudy!

A day later, I noticed the setting sun on a scraggly Rabbit Brush with a shadowy snow background. I grabbed my camera and wallowed in the snow to get these.

When Mary Lea saw this, she said "It looks like a rock in a big rapid". Do you see it? Water moving right to left?

Just a spent, dry seed pod. Forlorn and lovely - I think.

Sometimes I see things around the house that catch my eye.
