Hi Ron,

A friend and I walked recently and while crossing the Poudre River near LaPorte, I took some photographs. Here are some of the resulting images. (Remember, you can enlarge the image by clicking on it).

In this one, I like the water's holding back the edges of winter just a little longer.

As you can see, it's warm enough for some melting. Water, flowing over the ice, reflects the sky and trees. I'm always a sucker for that.

The ice had time to freeze and thaw a few times and its edges have a kind of fractal nature.

Well, it should be an interesting year ahead of us. May it bring good things to your life.
