Hi Ron
I spent a couple of weeks sea kayaking in Alaska with friends and a week with Mary Lea in Juneau. It was the coldest weather I've encountered there - and the hottest. After all of that, it was great to get home. If you don't have time to look at all my photos, at least check out the Tracy Arm glacier pics.
This first is not a picture of Alaska but perhaps a fun segue to what follows.

We were on the water north of Sitka Alaska for 16 days. We had days of glorious, sunny weather

and a fair number of cold, gloomy days.

While in Juneau, Mary Lea and I took a boat down to Tracy Arm glacier - 50 miles south of Juneau. The glacier ice is put under so much pressure that all the air is expelled and the ice becomes completely clear. (hint: there is a marine mammal in one photo).

Well, that's about it from me. We've had LOTS of rain. Everything is green and growing. The critters are busy living life, making sure there will be a next generation. Me, I'm glad to be home.
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
